Before fiction, Kat built a career as a syndicated political commentator, appearing on national radio and editorial platforms. That chapter sharpened her investigative instincts and deepened her appreciation for story as a vehicle for accountability and change.

Soon to be based in Nevada, Kat is hard at work on the Wicked series and her next project…The Route 66 Mysteries, a gritty, noir-tinged series where each book unfolds at a different roadside relic along America’s most haunted highway.
